Notes: Drainage is unglamorous but high-trust — Finch had standing water all winter and two other firms just quoted 'more topsoil'. We dug a trial hole, found a clay pan at 400mm, fixed it properly. Always do a percolation test before sizing a soakaway or you're guessing the crate size. Winter ground was heavy going — quote drainage with a weather contingency.
